2025 Wrapped: Another Year of Moments That Stole Our Hearts
2025 was filled with unforgettable destination weddings and meaningful moments that reminded us why we love designing and planning celebrations, from the East to West coast. From breathtaking wedding locations and iconic venues, to intentional design details and the talented vendor partners who bring our visions to life, we had the honor of supporting couples and families who trusted us with their most important day.
As we reflect on this year and look ahead to the weddings and events of 2026, we’re sharing some of our favorite 2025 destination wedding highlights, including the beautiful celebrations, elevated experiences, and the meaningful moments that made each event truly one-of-a-kind.
Full Wedding Weekends, Ceremonies, Receptions, & More
From our first call with couples to the day they walk down the aisle, we really get to know their love story on a personal level. Then, our job is to embody it throughout their entire event itinerary. This means pairing them with the venues and vendors that align with their vision and carefully putting the pieces together to make it all a reality.
The countless email threads, design meetings, tastings, and more all paid off and we have the proof! We crafted 11 wedding weekends, a 40th Anniversary, a corporate holiday party and a legacy client's baby shower. All were hosted at signature locations like our trusted Montage Palmetto Bluff May River Chapel to our most popular tented receptions beside the ruins and southern oak trees at the historic homes in Savannah like the Beaulieu Estate.
We also truly took advantage of the opportunity to expand our roots into the New England area and continued to build our relationships with some incredible properties, like the Castle Hill Inn and The Chanler in Rhode Island. We also took a trip to Jekyll Island Club Resort to tour their waterfront property and Gilded-Age inspired cottages because scouting new locations is key to creating fresh, thoughtful experiences for our couples.
Whether our couples requested bright garden themes, ballroom backdrops with floor-to-cieling drapes, or western-themed welcome parties, we delivered exquisite ceremonies and over-the-top receptions that captured attention and the hearts of everyone in attendance. Tablescapes, floral arrangements, and entertainment - each element was hand-picked, unique to the individual couples, AND well worth it.
Intimate Gatherings & Event Design
Don’t underestimate the smaller celebrations…these moments carried major impact.
We collaborated with hosts planning everything from baby showers to corporate holiday parties and helped handle every detail with care. The gatherings may have been intimate, but the experience was anything but simple.
Rich palettes, fun decor, and festive tables created exciting environments that brought guests together in the most meaningful ways. These intimate celebrations reminded us that no event is too small for making connections.
Building Connections
Last, but certainly not least, some of our favorite 2025 moments were the times that we had the chance to connect and mingle with other industry experts.
We started the year off traveling to Austin, Texas for the Intrusted Company networking event hosted at the Austin Proper Hotel, where we had an amazing evening connecting with so many wonderful new vendors and kicked off our spring season.
Next up was a one-of-a-kind dinner in a cave at the Juniper Reserve Resort in Bend, Oregon with Kindred Collective where we came together with like-minded professionals for a few days of curated one-on-one conversations from everything personal to professional. Cultivating relationships with fellow event experts allows us to better serve each client - matching them with the right vendor partners who help bring their vision to life.
Lastly, we rounded out our networking with a FAM event at Hotel Bardo Savannah. With all of our travel, having an event at home was exactly what we needed - equal parts fun, inspiration, and meaningful connection.
At Allison Event Design, we’re continually refining our craft. Being part of these experiences allowed us to grow, deepen our expertise, and prepare for even more extraordinary celebrations ahead.
